Its Warmer in Billings, Mt

(c)Horst Kelly photographer

This is just not right....We are in South Texas....not International Falls. At 9:30pm yesterday evening the Casita already had ice forming on it, by this morning it was 23 degrees and not warming up....San Antonio had most of the major roads closed...By 0800 there where more then a 100 accidents , so they say....it may get above freezing by 2pm but will drop into the mid 20's tonight.....

Oh well, on Sunday I'll be standing at my grill, in my shorts, fixing some Salmon and such...and Billing will be in the teens....Mother Nature can be fickle....Happy Trails...Horst

  4. Global warming sure is cold...this morning at 9:30 it was 19 degrees and tonight going down to 20 and more next week down into the mid teens. Wow, we are about 1 hour south of Atlanta and I thought this area had mild winters.
Horst, sounds like maybe a pot of chili may be in the making.
Hope you make the grilling out Sunday in shorts.
    Stay warm my friend!

  6. It's called 'climate change'. It means more severe weather more often such as the arctic vortex deep freeze.

Weather is different than climate anyway. What happens on a day to day basis is weather. The global climate IS WARMING! Ask the Inuit in the Arctic.

  7. PS The temperatures in the Arctic are warmer than they have been in 44,000 years!
